A fine English silver TankardSOLD
Made in London 1937 by Thomas Bradbury and Sons
This is a really beautiful piece of pre-war English silver. It is a tankard in the manner of those made in York, Hull and Newcastle circa 1690-1790, which are influenced in style by Scandinavian tankards from Denmark, Norway and Sweden which had close trading links with this part of North East England at this time.
