A Georgian Silver and Treen Toddy Ladle made c1720SOLD
This
magnificent Georgian Silver and Treen bowl toddy ladle was made c1720.
The handle is especially nice, excellently turned, and made of lignum
vitae while the bowl looks like a miniature coconut cup.
There
is a very slight split on the silver border of the bowl and also a crack
on the bowl itself which has been repaired. This is reflected in the
price and i have pictured it.
It measures 31cm in length and the bow measures 4cm, wide and 4cm tall.
