A 17th Century Silver German Baroque Wine Taster made in Augsburg c1660SOLD

This is an early Baroque Silver and gilt German Wine Taster / Tastevin made in Augsburg by Paul Hoschel c1660.

A very rare thing indeed.

Exceptionally early, wonderful coloring, an excellent size and a spectacular example of a German baroque wine taster.  It really is a charming thing, barely bigger than the palm of your hand yet it draws the eye and holds it with little effort.

9.5cm in length, 8.5cm in width and 2.3cm tall.

Very good condition with some slight wear to the gilding.

Type: Wine Taster
Function: Wine Related
Country: German
