A Victorian Viennese Enamel and Austrian SilverPatch BoxSOLD

This fine and beautiful little Viennese Enamel patch box was made in Austria circa 1880 and is of excellent quality. It depicts a wonderfully rendered 18th century countryside love scene.

The Viennese enamel work really is superb as I hope the photographs show. It is unmarked, and mounted in gilt Austrian silver. The condition is flawless. Very slight wear to the gilding on the outside but the colour is still excellent. The enamel is perfect.

The lid fits snugly, and the box is wonderfully satisfying and tactile in the hand. It weighs 62g and measures approximately 5cm diameter and 2.75cm height.

Type: Boxes
Country: Austrian
