A pair of Victorian Shakespere Framed Plaques in the Dutch 17th Century StyleSOLD
This is a pair of Victorian Electrotype plaques which depict scenes from William Shakespeare's 'The Merchant of Venice'. They are made c1860 but in the style of Dutch 17th century plaques. The frames are wood and Gesso.
The plaques are in good condition, however there are some dents and slight splits to the picture frames which I have photographed. These are minor and do not notice when the pictures are hung.
The plaques measure 32.5cm by 32.5cm.
