A set of Elkington Victorian candlesticks c1860SOLD

This beautiful pair of cast silver plate candlesticks were made by Elkington circa 1860, and are of excellent quality.

The candlesticks measure 11 inches in height and have wonderful relief decoration in the Victorian Naturalist style. Each bears an armorial crest- the symbol of the family who originally owned them. They are marked Elkington around the base, and the Elkington date letter too.

They are in excellent condition. They have been replated, and have a wonderful sumptuous finish, reflecting the candle light beautifully!
