A set of 4 Boxed Georg Jensen Silver Salts- Acanthus PatternSOLD
This beatiful set of silver salts and spoons was made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Acanthus pattern was by the renowned Johan Rhode, and dates to 1917. It bears the mark for Georg Jensen and Rhode's design mark, and the design number 180. Each salt is beautifully enamelled green inside, to protect the silver from the corrosive effect of salt. This is a charming variance from the usual glass liners salts have.
The box measures 33cm, while each salt is 63mm.
The set is in lovely condition with no damage or repair. The enamel is perfect, and in general these salts have been extremely well looked after.
