Post War Silver Modernist Paperweight by Gerald BenneySOLD
This beautiful paperweight is by the renowned silversmith Gerald Benney, and was made in London 1978.
Bearing a variation on his famous Bark Effect finish, this beautiful paperweight is a wonderful and understated example of Post War British design. It is very heavy in the hand- almost an ingot as well as a piece of silver by an important maker!
It is 84mm and weighs 193g.
The paperweight is in excellent condition with no problems.
