A Dutch Silver Corkscrew made circa 1810SOLD

This fine little Dutch silver corkscrew is quite wonderful. In the Neoclassical style, it is charmingly made, and marked for Holland circa 1810. Dutch silver is beautiful quality, particularly when of this period, and Antique Corkscrews are highly collectable!

The antique corkscrew is in very good condition. There is some corrosion to the steel, but this is to be expected of a piece this age, and furthermore, if so wished it could be polished out without any trouble. In my experience antique silver corkscrew collections are full of examples with this sort of age related issue. However, it is up to the individual collector.
