A Russian Art Deco Silver Cigarette CaseSOLD

This fine Russian silver cigarette case was made circa 1910, and is of excellent quality. It is gilt inside, and I believe the clasp is set with a ruby. It weighs 171 grams and measures approximately 9.5x7cm. It bears the Kokoshnik mark for pre-revolution, and is a very early example of the Art Deco style. It is, in fact, too early for Art Deco Silver really, but is certainly a highly modern design and a very fine piece of Russian Silver of highly modern design.

A beautiful piece of Art Deco silver and perfect for a collector of Russian silver.

Type: cigarette case
Function: smoking related
Country: Russian
