A Georgian Irish Bright Cut Silver Meat Skewer or letter openerSOLD

A Georgian Irish Silver Meat Skewer made in Dublin 1796. It is of typical form for an Irish meat skewer, and has very fine Dublin Star Cut silver bright cutting. The skewer measures 29cm, which I believe is a little shorter than original- it has been cut down after heavy use to the point.

In any case, it is a fine example of original Georgian Irish bright cutting, and would make a fine addition to a collection of Antique Irish silver.

Type: Meat Skewer
Function: Dining
Country: Irish
