This large and impressive jug was made by Charles Boyton, London 1932. It is a wonderful piece of Art Deco silver, by a most respected maker.

Charles Boyton Silver is important in the story of British 20th Century design, very much influenced by the Art Deco and the works of Georg Jensen and Harald Nilsen. Charles Boyton silver is, as this piece is, signed by Boyton himself, as well as hallmarked.
