A Georg Jensen silver beakerSOLD
This Georg Jensen silver beaker or Christening cup was made in Copenhagen circa 1930 by Georg Jensen. It bears a Dutch control mark, and underneath the Dutch inscription "Van Overgrootmoeder" which means from great grandmother. Clearly a lady with some considerable style! On the side are the initials PT.
This Georg Jensen silver beaker is in the form of an 18th century Scandinavian beaker, also often given as Christening presents. This one is of lovely quality, and beautifully planished silver.
