An Ottoman Silver Dish, Turkish antique silver circa 1900SOLD
This Ottoman silver dish was made in Turkey circa 1890 or 1900. It bears a very well struck "Tughra", or hallmark for the Sultan. It is in typical late 19th century style, well made and very pretty!
Ottoman silver dishes like this were for sweets or nuts. It is solid silver, marked and with a prominent assay scrape.
