This little Arts and Crafts silver candlestick was made by A E Jones in Birmingham 1918. It is of typical Arts and Crafts design with a corkscrewed wooden stem. It stands 15cm tall.
A E Jones silver is highly collectable, and exemplifies the English Arts and Crafts. This charming little candlestick is a good example. The condition is very good, although the hallmarks are perhaps a little more rubbed than one would like.
