Arts and Crafts Silver Plated Tray by Keswick School of Industrial ArtsSOLD
This Arts and Crafts tray was made by the Keswick School of Industrial Arts: one of the more important of the Arts and Crafts guilds. It is hand worked silver on copper. This tray shows clear Mughal indian influences, and the design is very reminiscent of Islamic art. It was made circa 1890, and really rather charming.
The tray measures 23.5cm by 15cm and bears the famous KISA mark for Keswick School of Industrial Arts. It is in very good condition with some copper showing.
