A Georg Jensen Silver Cactus Pattern Dessert SpoonSOLD

A Georg Jensen Silver spoon in the Cactus Pattern. This Cactus Pattern Dessert spoon bears Georg Jensen marks for Denmark, 1932-45. It measures 151mm and is in excellent condition. On the reverse there is a dedication: "Cai Christian" in scroll script. Presumably it was originally given as a christening present!
However, from the front it is completely plain, and would fit perfectly with any set of Cactus Pattern flatware.

Cactus Pattern was designed by Gundorph Albertus in 1932, and has proved one of Georg Jensen's most desirable flatware patterns. Cutlery in the Cactus Pattern is well collected, and to build a complete service would not be difficult.

A fine Vintage Georg Jensen Silver spoon made in the Cactus Pattern.

Type: Spoon
Function: Dining
Maker: Georg Jensen
Country: Denmark
