A cube tea setSOLD
This rare silver plate cube tea set was made in Leicester circa 1900 by Cube Teapots Ltd. As you can see it is of exceptional modernist design. It looks far more modern than its early date and belongs to the modernist movement of the late Victorian/early Edwardian which was pioneered by Dr. Christopher Dresser. The set is in very good condition with no damage or repair.
The tea pot stands at approximately 10.5 cm with a width of 10.5 cm and weighs 610 grams.
The sugar bowl stands at approximately 7.5 cm with a width of approximately 7 cm and weighs 202 grams.
The cream jug stands at approximately 6.5 cm with a width of approximately 6 cm and weighs 143 grams.
