A Stuart Devlin Silver Post War Fishing Tackle BoxSOLD
This rare silver and silver gilt box was designed and made by Stuart Devlin. Stuart Devlin is one of the most renowned and respected of British post war Silversmiths. This is a very unusual example of his work, quite unlike any other I have seen. It is a box for fishing tackle, and the lid is inset with a fine silver gilt plaque of a fishing scene. It is hallmarked on the bezel and on the lid.
A fine and unusual example of this most famous of Post War British silversmiths.
