A Georgian Silver Soup Plate made in 1788SOLD
This fine silver Soup Plate was made by the renowned Royal silversmiths Wakelin and Taylor. It is of the excelent quality one would expect of this period and maker.
It is double crested, which usually indicates a marriage between two important families. I have not taken the time to research the crests however.
This fine Georgian soup plate is in excellent condition, with fine antique wear, and a lovely patina.
