A Silver Cigar Lighter by Georg Jensen

This exceptional silver cigar lighter was designed by Georg Jensen himself circa 1910.

This cigar lighter, shaped like Aladdin’s lamp and fitted with an elegant curved handle, is placed on a beaded ten-sided polygon base. The little snuffer is attached via a chain, and the cover with foliage pattern is detachable.

The lighter is a beautiful example of Georg Jensen silver and a rare find. It bears the Georg Jensen mark used between 1933 and 1944.

It weighs 171 grammes and measures 9.5cm (3.7 inches) in height, 13.2 cm (5.2 inches) in length, and 9cm (3.5 inches) in width approximately.
