A Pair of Art deco Georg Jensen Silver Candlesticks designed by Arno Malinowski
These little candlesticks are rather rare. I've never seen this design before, and they are engraved "Julen 1940". Although they are identical in design one is hollow and just marked with Georg Jensen's 1932-45 mark and "925.5" while the other has a base plate and is fully marked with the "Denmark Sterling Georg Jensen and Wendel" mark, and the design mark of Arno Malinowski.
Each candlestick measures approximately 7cm diameter and 2.8cm height. The aperture of the candle sconce is approximately 1.4cm for them to take candles of that size.
An interesting and rare pair of table candlesticks by one of Jensen's rarer designers.
