A Georgian Silver Straining SpoonSOLD

This rather rare Silver Straining Spoon was made by Peter & Anne Bateman in London and is dated 1798.

This Straining spoon is in the Old English Pattern with a charming crest. While basting spoons, spoons of identical form but without the strainer, are relatively common, straining spoons like this are rather rare.

It weighs 129g and measures 29cm.
