A pair of Neoclassical Old Sheffield Plate Candlesticks
This beautiful pair of Neo-Classical Sheffield Plate Candlesticks are
oval based and of Urn and Pedestal form. They were made circa 1790 in Sheffield. The have elegant reeded borders
which are typical of this period. They have lovely wear and have copper
showing on parts, as is desirable for old Sheffield Plate of this period.
Each candlestick has a removable sconce and all are in very good condition with no damage or repair. They are full sized candlesticks, being 12 inches tall. As all Old Sheffield Plate Candlesticks, they are of loaded construction.
