A Pair of First Period Old Sheffield Plate Candlesticks

A rare pair of very early Old Sheffield Plate candlesticks made in Sheffield by John Hoyland & Company.

The pair is in a very good condition and is bleeding attractively on the high points, a desirable quality in Old Sheffield Plate.

Each candlestick measures 19 centimetres (7.5 inches) in height and the base measures 12 by 12 centimetres (4.7 by 4.7 inches).
