A Sterling Silver flatware set By Georg Jensen Silver in the Acanthus PatternSOLD

This stunning silver cutlery set was made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen, It is in the Acanthus Pattern, and there are 36 pieces in total. It is undoubtedly a fine and interesting example of silver flatware by Georg Jensen Silver.

In total there are 12 silver Dinner knives, silver Forks and silver Spoons. All pieces of silver flatware are Georg Jensen silver, made in Denmark.

All the pieces of sterling silver flatware are lovely however some pieces bear different date marks.

8 silver spoons are marked for Denmark bearing the post 1945 mark, while 1 silver spoon is also marked for Denmark and bears the 1932-1945 mark and 3 spoons are marked Georg Jensen & Wendel which dates them to 1945-1951.

11 of the sterling silver forks are as post 1945 while 1 is marked Georg Jensen & Wendel which dates between 1945-1951


10 of the sterling silver knives are marked for -post 1945 while 2 are marked Georg Jensen & Wendle which puts then at 1945-1951.


All pieces are in very good condition with wear commensurate with age. A fine silver cutlery set by a renowned maker, and in a most elegant pattern!
